What I am working on vs.

What I should be working on...pics of one, not of the other.

I started this scarf last night at knitting night. This yarn has been sitting in my sewing room for over a year and after seeing all the scarves that are so popular, I thought that I would make one for myself out of this. It is not the easiest yarn to work with though. The is the second of the five checkerboards that I have started. They are actually this morning's projects to work on. Two of these that just need varnished.

And about a zillion of these. They have been all over my sewing room for weeks. Shawnee and I worked on them Tuesday afternoon while Gracelyn and Kendall slept. When Gracelyn woke up, she looked in my sewing room and said "Messy" That word is usually used for herself after she eats. Surely my room does not look that bad!

What I should be working on...well pics of that are not going to be posted. I should be working on cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, decorating for fall, my laundry, my suitcase that is not completely unpacked and about another 25 or so tasks.
Update on the computer issues that I was having a couple of weeks ago. Some of them were solved about John thought of looking on YouTube for a video of what to do with the program. Ingenious! I never even thought of that!
The new glasses. I went to see the boys on Monday and Tyler's first comment was, "Those are scary" When I asked him what was scary, he said "Those glasses, please take them off"
So now I have fashion comments from a four year old and housekeeping comments from a not yet two year old. Life just keeps getting better!

Your Autumn Greetings sign is beautiful. The little ones comments are priceless. I'm sure you'll get caught up at some point. Well, at least back to normal. Giggle! Are we ever caught up?
