Weekend with the Princess

Image
One more finished project off the list BEFORE the Princess arrived for her Weekend at Mama's House. We finished decorating the church. Thanks again to Paula, Shawnee and Jennifer for all their help on Friday, even if the two youngest of that group in a Black Friday shopping stupor caused me a mild panic attack when I thought the Nativity was missing. Gracelyn and I managed to locate Baby Jesus and set up everything yesterday. Big White Box. Big Letters. CERAMIC NATIVITY SET HANDLE WITH CARE Hard to miss, Girls! And we posed in front of the Christmas tree! We baked cookies. Now, before any of you read this and think I have suddenly gone domestic. Cookie Dough in a Bag. Prepared Icing. Ok, I did add the food coloring to make it pink. That's as domestic as I get. We watched the start of the Wizard of Oz before she went to bed. I questioned that, it always scared me. Sometimes it still does. She seemed to love it!

Caterpillers, Graduation and more yard work.

Kendall will be one year old tomorrow, how fast that year has gone.  Shelby is having a theme party...a big party.  I got the bright idea for these little guys. They started like this  and what a mess they, well actually I made. Little balls of Oreo's and cream cheese.  Easy enough. And then I had all of these.  Fun, sticky, and they don't taste bad. And on Thursday, Tyler graduated from preschool.  How adorable they all were. The graduating class. They sang, they did rhymes and I decided that our little Tyler really has the makings of a TV Evangelist.  What drama he portrays and how he liked that microphone AND the applause.  To our surprise, at the end, he grabbed the microphone and performed a solo, impromptu rendition of the ABC's.  I am sure that I was not the only one that started to sweat when he grabbed it.  You never know what is going to come out of his little mouth sometimes. What a great holiday weekend so ...
