Tolentreasures

Or, in other words... "Been there," "Awww," and "Who really cares?" The past 24 hours, I have been all of those. You see, last Friday, I came down with a cold. A nasty head cold. Not asking for any sympathy from anyone here.. everyone gets them, I dealt with it. It is almost gone. However, and now I am about to evoke all of your sympathies, or most of your sympathies, JWS NOW HAS THE COLD! That's it. Now all of you feel sorry for me, dontcha? Now you are all feeling it, Empathy, Been there Sympathy, Awww you poor thing, and Apathy, well you might be feeling that also towards me.. and let me tell you I have been having big waves of it, that I am trying to fight. Obviously, when they would do those career aptitude tests. NURSING was at the bottom of my list. Not only does blood make me very queasy... I was out getting a cup of coffee, when they passed out Compassion for the Sick. Well, at least, Compassion for those with the Common Cold. Or wait.  Maybe ...

About a week ago, someone sent an email to me regarding Adult ADD.  After reading it, I painfully realized that I might have a problem.  It described me very accurately. Take yesterday morning. I had to remake two beds and vacuum for the bear hunters that were arriving later in the day. The sheets were clean and in the washer. Get up Make the coffee, Check my email. Sip the coffee. Take the sweeper upstairs. Go to the basement for the sheets, but first, there is that sweater that I went to put on last Sunday that has a stain on it so while I am going to the basement, I am just going to run over to the other side of the house and get that sweater and throw it in while I was going to the basement anyway. Spot the sweater, start the washer, gather the sheets and pillowcases, take them upstairs. Turn on the iron in the messy sewing room. Clean up a few things in there while the iron is heating. Walk by the mirror and realize that my hair needs colored really bad. Run back dow...

I have not been thrift shopping, yard sale shopping or flea market shopping much at all this year.  The last few days made up for that though.  I found these little dolls and a bag of bracelets at a sale the other day.  Gracelyn played witha the bracelets all day today while we shopped.  $1,25. The crystals were $1 for each strand. Quick photo of the afghan I finished before I left this morning.  And this was one of the shops that we went to today.  It is on Route 28 north of Brookville, Pa and on the way to Cooks Forest, interesting shop and pretty good prices. Some window screens and a wire basket.  Why can't I get my pictures clear?    $1.50 for everything.  Some summer reads, but with as much as I have laid out to read this summer, it may be next summer until I get to them.  50 cents each.
