  Elmer's White  Wood Carpenter's Hot Aerosol 527 e6000 Sticks Fabric Not a fan of any of them.   Glue is not my thing.  A necessary evil in the crafting world, but I still cringe when I have to use too much of it.   I am persevering.   I am to do a talk on something at a luncheon this week.  Working away at samples to show.    And these were BIG gluing! I have quite the mess that I am trying to paint my way out of before the end of the week!  

  ...if you can make favors for a shower out of items in your house and not have to buy anything.   And, while you might think, "Yes, that is a hoarder."   You can add to it, this is the third shower that I have done that in the past two years. Around 120 favors and everything right in the house.   But really, you are not a hoarder if you can part with it, right?      

These are about the easiest and least expensive craft EVER!   I am really not sure I NEED this many of these but once I got going, I could not quit!   So you will need:   Laminate samples Paper Xacto knife White Glue Sanding block Antiquing or paint or ink pad Leftover ribbon scraps   Now, first of all, I am not going to condone stealing laminate samples from your local Lowes or Home Depot, but hey, you just might want to change out that countertop someday and some samples would be helpful!   Mine, however came from Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse   http://pccr.org/   for $5 for a huge bag of them. Pricing and marking things drives me crazy. I would much rather be creating. But, here is a little tip. Print your tags on the computer, regular card stock works great. Leave a blank area on the bottom.  Cut them in strips, Take the thread out of your sewing machine... and sew along the top edge of the blank area. It makes a nice perforated edge on your tag for your price. If the person is buying your item for a gift, they can simply tear off the bottom and leave all of your information on the tag. It not only allows the receiver of the gift to know that it was handmade, but it leaves all of your information for future sales! I know these pics are backwards, not enough coffee co...

This is Dianna's tree that I just finished yesterday. This actually has me still one day behind in my 30 projects in 30 days marathon. The little wooden tags are stenciled, something I don't normally do, but they were just so fast that I couldn't stop myself. The little balls are drywall covered styrofoam balls and they are sprinkled with DiamondDust. I cannot get enough of that stuff but I really need to vacuum my house soon, It looks like the pixies have been having a party and it really cannot be good for grandchildren crawling around on the floor.
