A centerpiece/doily, scarf, and The Sweater!

This is the centerpiece/doily that was on my list to do. It is for on the princess'
table in her toy room. I am framing some more of this quilt in a window frame for her also...another one off the list. And a scarf that I started when I was on my scarf and hat kick, but now that I have moved on from scarves and dishclothes......

to SWEATERS! Well just this one! This was my first attempt at anything like this and although there are some mistakes, I learned so much making this. Thank goodness for patient friends and YouTube! Who would have thought that you could learn knitting on YouTube. The only thing that I have ever looked at on that site was Harley Burnouts with my grandsons, they love them! I don't think that they will be happy switching to three needle bind offs, but then who knows?
This is for the princess. I am sure that her mother will be glad that winter is almost over and that she won't have to wear it on her long! But watch out, another one might be coming soon, AFTER the list is done. Fifteen things to go and fifteen days. Not really sure that it is going to happen, some of those are just too big of projects.
Tonight is knitting night and I am going to try to learn socks. I can't wait!

Cathy, I found You tube to be a wonderful place to learn the loom knitting tecniques. It's much easier for me to "see" it being done than read about it in a book. Keep going with those UFO's. I pulled out a cross stitch that I started about 20 years ago(yikes I hate to admit that!) and I'M GOING TO FINISH IT! ~Ann

Love the quilt -- so colorful and "happy!" The scarf is great, but the sweater is absolutely awesome! Can you make one in a medium -- womans size? Just wondering. ;o)

Kuddos to you, Cathy, for your dedication to your projects! You go, girl!! I LOVE the patch quilt and the sweater is adorable.
Congratualtions Cathy!
That sweater is so pretty. I love the colours. I don't knit and I don't want to learn...I am too old and lazy. LOL My daughter learned a few years ago (she just turned 32)and I am amazed at what she turns out.
Thanks for the pictures. You really are doing a wonderful job!
Have a great weekend.
