Pic from New Orleans

Always looking for an out of the way place to eat, we found this place last night just a short ferry ride across the water. Everyone is so helpful here, if you even look a little confused, someone just is ready and willing to help you and answer questions. On the ferry ride across the river, we talked to a young architect on her way home from work. She was so informative and interesting and I felt as if I learned so much about the city from her. This place, the Dry Dock Cafe had a terrific waitress, Robin, that had tons of information of where to go and what to do.
These were some of our pics from last night. The days have been spent at the trade show. Tomorrow is our free day though and I want to get to the French Market and to Cafe du Monde yet. Also would like to do a little daylight shopping in the French Quarter.
What a great classic rock band! Old Opera House on Bourbon Street.

This gentlemen played the request of Free Bird on the wineglasses.

City view at night from the ferry.

OMGosh ... my daughter and her husband were just down there 3 weeks ago. They love it. David had a meeting and Brandi shopped and visited the many artist galleries and junk to treasure shops. They spent 5 nights and totally loved it. Thanks for sharing the pics.
I must have missed what trade show?
