That Favorite T-shirt

C'mon,
you know you have it.
That favorite t-shirt
that should have been long ago "retired".

Actually,
I have a few,
but
this was my favorite.
You can't see it in the picture,
but,
when I put it on yesterday
the armhole ripped out
and sadly I knew
our relationship was coming to an end.

Long sleeve,
roomy,
soft,
cozy,
paint stained,
long enough to cover my derriere,
patterned enough
to
not
wear
a bra!

At home, of course

So,
hoarder that I am,
I could not give it up completely.
I mean
after all,
I had
been in the relationship
with this
t-shirt
longer
than
I have been married to JWS.

So,
in the effort to maintain this relationship
it
became
COASTERS!

Well missi...you are one lady that will not givi up! lol
I looove what you did with the shirt.
I have a few also - not as pretty and festive as yours so when mine are ready for the rag bag...that's where they will end up...not some adorable mug mats!
Cool thinking!

What a great idea!! Unfortunately for my shirts the mending and
re-mending and some more mending = not enough fabric left to do any thing with!!
Love your idea!!
Enjoy the coasters!

I have an old camp shirt I wear around home, same thing! Long, stained, soft and light from years of washing, but I just can't get rid of it!
