OK, here goes. I haven't been around for awhile so there is a lot to tell. See this adorable pic above? Well, below is what it took to get it. Think we have a little live wire there?  And finally, when I got the "good" pic. I had to crop it to remove the boob shot that Dianna gave us all! We had our Easter celebration on Friday. Somewhere along the line, I decided to make a favorite dessert for each of my son-in-laws. So, Friday morning I made two peach pies, two chocolate chess pies, one peanut butter chocolate pie and an apple walnut cake. Whew... I used to bake, but rarely do anymore. Jennifer didn't know me then. She couldn't figure out where I bought the pie crust. I guess that's a compliment? Saturday morning, had me searching for an Amish to make a new awning for our porch. First Amish Farm "Well, uh, you go to the end of this road and turn right, go to the driveway...

It snuck up on me.  Oh, I knew that he was on his way, the evidence was there! But I am ashamed to say that there has been so much going on around here that the time just crept up on me.  Baby Wyatt John should be making his arrival in less than two months!  TWO MONTHS!!!  Where did that time go?  I guess it probably seems like a lot longer to Dianna than it does to the rest of us. So, I have to get busy!  There are things to paint, things to knit, things to sew.  So much to do yet for the next little blessed addition to our family. This week I will paint the room, well the decorative end of it anyway.  Travis has all the paint on the walls.  These are the colors of the room, these are the fabrics we are using. I need to get busy!  Hopefully Baby Wyatt does not take after his cousin Kendall and arrive a month early!

Stitching

Gracelyn spent the night on Thursday and she wanted to "stitch".  I gave her the "treasure box" as she calls it and a tapestry needle with crochet cotton and she stitched buttons all evening and part of the next morning.  What a difference between having her and having the boys.  John calls the boys "the Rotties" because he likens having them to having a couple of Rottweillers and her to having a goldfish.  How true!  She is just so calm and easy and she doesn't run faster than we are able.  Which brings me to the sight of John chasing Tyler last week.  Tyler had once again hit Logan in the head with a golf ball.  I can't tell you how many times this has happened this summer and honestly, I swear that the golf balls are like heat seeking missiles to Logan's head.  This last time sent Tyler running with John in hot pursuit. The sight of the the 51 year old grandpa chasing the really fast 5 year old was enough to make me chuckle despite the fac...
