These aprons were a yard sale find. I finally managed to remember to buy some spray starch and press them all neatly. Well, as neatly as I press anyway.    Niagara Spray Starch, wow, the memories that smell brings back! Remember this big mess from Friday? Well, on Saturday, the bleach was flowing stains were being scrubbed and the washer and dryer were in overdrive. So many more good finds in that box than I even realized. I love to find this work, so delicate, I can't imagine the time and patience that it took to do that! There were tons of lace items, some handmade, some not some damaged and stained, but then there were good spots to be used in other items. Oh the possibilities, the ideas... winter projects! For some winter anyway if not this one! The pillowcases have been hanging around here for awhile. Finally they were washed and pressed. Channeling my inner fashionista this month, now I am ready to announce the showing of the   Spring Princess Collection.  Gracelyn would have been our model, but she would not take off the "Belle" dress. So you will have to view the showroom models.  Appearing first is our Spanish matador inspired ensemble. One day in church, a woman handed me a bag of material scraps from dresses that someone had made.  Not one to throw anything away, as most of you know, I hung on to those for a year or so and here they are transformed into our first item in our spring collection.   Our second fashion statement is made from material left over from the window sill cloths at the church and again, fabric that was donated to me. First of all, I would like to thank Jenny for the goodies that I received in the mail. How fun to have "new" goodies to sew with. I love matching the fabrics and notions for these little dresses.
