Tolentreasures

Sometimes you have to take a Vacation Day to prepare for a Staycation Day. Honestly, I wish I was one of those people that could not see the things that need done. That I could turn my mind off. So now that this side of my house is somewhat cleaned up I will have my Staycation Day on only one side of the house. So if you have any thoughts of visiting my home... Use the side door by the porch. Because this is where I will be, Tonight and tomorrow!  Ginger Ale in a copper cup and a somewhat quiet evening!  

It has been quite the on-going project.  Logan is mining under the garage.  A wide selection of tools and he is using them all.  A nice collection of  shale  unusual rocks neatly displayed. And the proud miner.  Summertime fun! 

This is a bush/tree in the backyard. Does anyone know what this is?   Because every summer, I think I am going to look it up, and I never do.   Which leads me to the next question(s)?   How busy was my summer that when I went out to see the boys off to school I realized that my favorite chairs on the front porch were totally wrapped in cobwebs?   and the SPRING flag was still up?   We are talking tulips daffodils pastels.     And finally... the burning question of the day and night...   What IS the lifespan of a cricket? Because there has been one in our bathroom for almost two weeks and I can't seem to find it and surely it has to die soon.   And now... off to find a better flag!
